Requirements :
- Grade C training as per Private Security Industry Regulation Authority (PRISA). Abet Level 3 Training. Knowledge of the access control to public premises and Vehicles Act 53 of 1985. Knowledge of measures for the control and movement of equipment and stores. Knowledge of prescribed security procedures (e.g., MIS, NISA, Protection of Information Act, etc.) and the authority of security officers under these documents. Knowledge of the relevant emergency procedures. Previous experience in security will be an added advantage. Knowledge of Batho-Pele principles and Minister’s Six Key Priorities. Ability to work under pressure and after hours / shift worker.
